Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, December 27, 1921 Gifford Pioneer Dies Geo. Dodson, 83, Succumbs at Home Near Rosetta Gifford, Dec. 26 (Special) George Dodson, 83 years old, died yesterday at his home near Rosetta. Mr. Dodson has been a resident of Idaho for 28 years. He was born in England but came to this country in 1863, settling in Iowa but followed the lure of the west, living successively in Missouri and California. Mr. Dodson was a well known pioneer of Gifford and vicinity and a large acquaintance of friends mourn his death. He is survived by six children. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery tomorrow. |
