Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, July 3, 1949 Lapwai Man Dead Of Illness Here James Davis, 56, Lapwai, died yesterday morning at 5:45 at St. Joseph's hospital. His wife, Julia Andrews, whom he married at Lapwai in 1917, preceded him in death just six years ago. Survivors are his son, Rupert Davis and three grandchildren, all of Lapwai. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 at the Spalding Presbyterian church, the Rev. Harry Moffett officiating, assisted by the Rev. Daniel Scott. Burial will be at Coyote cemetery near Lapwai. Brower-Wann funeral home, Lewiston, is in charge of arrangements. |
