Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, April 23, 1925 Funeral of Mr. Crawford Services Were Conducted Yesterday at Upper Tammany Cemetery. Funeral services for the late Alfred P. Crawford, a resident of the Sweetwater region, who died Monday at Orofino, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the upper Tammany cemetery. James A. Ferris, of Lewiston Orchards, conducted the services. A good number of friends from Sweetwater and Tammany were present. Mr. Crawford was born 38 years ago in Tammany and he made his home in Nez Perce county ever since. His father, H. P. Crawford [Henry Price Crawford], who died two years ago, conducted the stopping place on Webb creek in early days, when the Fountain grade was the main route to the prairie. He is survived by his mother [Elizabeth Finley Crawford] and a brother, Phillip, residing at Sweetwater, and a brother in the east. |
