Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, March 10, 1930 Leland Matron Dies Here Mrs. Betty Craig, 34, wife of Oral Craig, prominent Leland farmer, died Sunday morning at St. Joseph's hospital at 2:30 o'clock following a brief illness. She was born 34 years ago in North Carolina but had lived in the Leland section for the past 11 years and was a member of the Leland Methodist church. Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, Avia, 9; Laurene, 6, and Neil, 3, at home; her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Robinson; three brothers, James, Mark and Zeb, and sister, Sue Robinson, all of Crescent, and two sisters, Mrs. Madge Anderson, Agatha, and Mrs. Harriett Evans, Kendrick. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Methodist church at Leland. The Vassar mortuary has charge of all arrangements and the body will lie in state here until Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock. |
