Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, September 15, 1948 Long Illness Fatal To Ethel Correll Gifford, Sept. 14 - Mrs. Ethel Correll, 56, wife of R. G. (Guy) Correll, died at her home several miles from Gifford at 6 a.m. today. She had suffered a stroke in 1946. Mrs. Correll was born April 20, 1892, at Eskridge, Kan., and married March 15, 1923, at Clarkston. Survivors are her husband; five children, Mrs. Margaret Olafson, Grangeville; Mary Lou Correll, Lewiston; Maurice, Lela and Ronald, all of Gifford; five brothers and sisters, Roy Wahl, Peck; Bert Wahl, Clarkston; Mrs. Maude Lough, Orofino; Mrs. May Immler, Cornelius, Ore., and Mrs. Nellie Fitch, Blaine, Ore.; also one grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Gifford with the Rev. Leon Stanton as officiant. Interment will be at the Gifford cemetery with Brower-Wann mortuary, Lewiston, in charge of arrangements. |
