At the home of his parents on east Main street, Judd Carpenter passed away Wednesday evening. Early in the week he was attacked by hemorrhage of the lungs brought on by a severe spell of coughing. The physicians were unable to stop the flow of blood and he gradually sank away. Mr. Carpenter was a young man well known in Lewiston. He was respected by all who knew him.
