Laura, the 9-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Blewett, prominent residents of the Gifford section, died at a local hospital Friday night following an operation for appendicitis. The remains were taken to Gifford yesterday by W. E. Stoddard undertaker of that town. Funeral services will be conducted today in the Christian church, interment to be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Gifford.
