Spokane Daily Chronicle June 2, 1938 James Albert Black Lewiston, Idaho, June 2. (Special) James Albert (Bert) Black, sales manager for the Lewiston Mercantile company, died Wednesday at a local hospital following a three-week illness. He was born at Salem, Ore., in 1880, and came to Lewiston from Astoria four years ago. Mr. Black was past president of the Lewiston Kiwanis club and a member of the Elks lodge. Surviving are his widow, Della, and one son, James Black Jr., of San Francisco. The body is at Brower-Wann. |
