The Lewiston Teller Friday, September 23, 1898 Miss Mary A. Barton Dead. Mary A. Barton, 25 years old, died in this city Tuesday at 2 o'clock a.m., of a lingering illness. She had been a long sufferer from bronchitis. Her death had been expected on the part of her friends for some days. This lady had lived in this city since childhood and many friends and loving father, mother, brothers and sisters mourn her death. The funeral took place from the Catholic church Wednesday afternoon. She was followed to her resting place by a large concourse of mourning friends and relatives. |
