Death of Fred Askew.

Word was received early this morning of the death of Fred Askew at the home of his son-in-law, Ed. Resson [Rawson], at 1843 Carson avenue.

Mr. Askew was 76 years old at the time of his death. He was born in England and came to Idaho from the east where some four years ago he suffered a sun stroke after which he came to live here hoping to benefit his health. Mr. Askew leaves a wife, one son and his daughter, who is the wife of Mr. Resson.
