Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, April 9, 1912 Mrs. Addison Dead. Succumbed Yesterday at Noon After a Long Illness. Laura K. Addison, wife of Walter T. Addison, succumbed to tuberculosis at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Annie Collins, on Normal hill. Mrs. Addison had been in failing health for several months and relatives and friends had realized she could not recover. A few months ago Mr. Addison took her to California, where specialists were consulted, but no hope of recovery could be held out and she returned here to be surrounded by loving relatives and friends during her last hours. Mrs. Addison was born in Lewiston on February 13, 1874, and practically her entire lifetime was spent here, she receiving her education in the public school of the city. On August 18, 1896, she was united in marriage to Walter Addison, who survives her. She is also survived by her mother and two sisters, Mrs. Ed L. Wiggin, of this city, and Mrs. Clifford Riggs, of Gardena, Washington. Mrs. Addison was a member of the Rebekah lodge of Lewiston and took much active interest in the work of that order until ill health compelled her to cease such activities. In her death, the relatives will have the sincere sympathy of many friends. |
