Mrs. Alydia Abbott Is Called To Last Reward

Mrs. Alydia Abbott, 86, a resident of Lewiston for the last 30 years, died at her home at 1321 Snake River avenue yesterday morning after an illness of about a year.

Mrs. Abbott was born March 8, 1850, in Keokuk county, Iowa. She crossed the plains by ox team, making her first home in the west near Oregon City, Ore. She came to Lewiston in the spring of 1907.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, John W. Abbott, Lewiston; Wallace Abbott, Jerry, Wash.; I. Abbott, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. J. T. Russell, Moscow; Mrs. A. C. Campbell, Lounsberry, N. Y., and Mrs. Alice Spencer, Los Molines, Calif., and a sister, Emma Buff, Latah, Wash., several grandchildren, including Roy Abbott, Lewiston, and a niece here, Mrs. Rose Cole.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock from the Brower-Wann chapel with the Rev. Dr. J. W. Caughlan as officiant. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery.
