Mrs. Frank Corbell received the sad and shocking intelligence on Friday last, that her father, David Williams, was shot and instantly killed at Conconnelly, Okanogan County, a few days previously. Rumor says that he was in a saloon at the time he received the fatal wound. Mr. Williams was a pioneer settler at Lewiston and was well known by freighters, packers and miners in the early history of this country. - W. W. Union.
