Spokane Daily Chronicle Friday., Dec. 18, 1953 Lewistonite, 80, Called By Death Lewiston, Idaho, Dec. 18 - L. E. (Lee) Thomas, 80, died yesterday at his home in Lewiston. Born in Benton county, Iowa, December 28, 1872, he married Miss Ella Hoech at Hartland, Wash., January 17, 1906. Mr. Thomas was a life member of the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his widow, at Lewiston; a son, Vernon Thomas, Pendleton, Ore.; a brother, Ralph Thomas, Nezperce, Idaho, and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted at Vassar-Rawls funeral home tomorrow afternoon at 2, the Rev. Paul Hovey officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
