Miss Nellie Shanhan Passes Away

Funeral Will Be Held From Catholic Church After Arrival of Relatives.

Nellie Shanhan, aged about 20 years, died this morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Albert J. Jaeger, on Idaho street, the cause of death being peritonitis.

Miss Shanhan had been sick but 10 days, and her many friends are deeply shocked at her sudden death. She is survived by a father, four brothers and a younger sister, who reside near Dubuque, Ia., and the sister, Mrs. Jaeger, with whom she resided. The funeral arrangements have not been completed, but the services will be conducted at the Catholic church after the arrival of the members of the family, who have been summoned from the East.
