A message received late yesterday afternoon announced the death of Mrs. Rudolph Shroeder at the Coffey sanitarium in Portland from complications following an attack of the influenza. Mrs. Shroeder was formerly Miss Margaret Wyatt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Wyatt, of Lewiston Orchards. She had suffered an attack of influenza during the winter at her home near Cottonwood. Complications had developed and she was taken to Portland for treatment about ten days ago. Her condition appeared to improve rapidly and it was not until Monday that a change developed and she passed away before relatives here could reach her side.

Mrs. Schroeder came to Lewiston with her parents when but a child. She was educated in the Lewiston public schools and at the Lewiston State Normal school. She was a young woman of fine mind and very pleasing personality and was beloved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, a sister, Mrs. W. W. Skuse, of Lewiston Orchards, two brothers, Robert Wyatt, Lewiston, and Charles Wyatt, Compton, Cal. The remains will arrive in Lewiston Thursday morning but the funeral arrangements will not be made until later.
