Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, July 29, 1932 Former Kendrick Man Passes In Washington Kendrick, July 28 - M. Procunier, former old time resident of this area, passed away at his home in Longview, Wash., yesterday according to word received here today. The body will be shipped to Kendrick for funeral services Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Normal Hill cemetery at Lewiston at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Surviving are the widow and one son residing at Longview, a son at Troy and Mrs. Thomas Croson, Lewiston. Mrs. Croson arrived today to make necessary arrangements.
Lewiston Morning Tribune Procunier Rites Held In Kendrick Kendrick, July 30. - Funeral services were conducted from the Bethel church at 10 o'clock this morning for George Andrew Procunier, 60, who died at Longview, Wash., Tuesday following an illness of three years. The Rev. Smith gave the funeral sermon and music was furnished by Mesdames E. H. Emery, Ramey and Christenson and Messrs. Ramey and Hill. Burial was in the Lewiston cemetery at 1 p.m. Mr. Procunier was born at Danbury, Iowa, March 2, 1872. He came to Idaho in 1895, settling on a homestead near Gifford. In 1901 he was married to Frances Ann Stephenson. To this union were born five children, three of whom are alive. Surviving are the widow, two sons, M. T. Procunier, American ridge, and N. E. Procunier, at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Croson, Lewiston. Three brothers, Lawrence Procunier of Moscow and John and Harry Procunier, Rapid City, S.D., also survive. |
