Winfield Powers, Lapwai, Victim of Heart Disease

Winfield Powers, 74, Nez Perce county resident since 1900, making his home at Lapwai, died at 6 last night at White's hospital of heart disease. He was born in New York April 5, 1866.

Survivors include his son, Ralph Powers, Oil City, Penn.; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Rachel Washburn, Clarkston; Mrs. O. Brewer, Spokane; Mrs. N. Alton, Nampa; E. L. Powers, Waterloo, Iowa; George Powers and H. L. Powers, New Hampton, Iowa.
