Ellen T. Poler, 81, Of Asotin, Passes

Ellen Thompson Poler, 81, Asotin, died at 6:40 yesterday morning at the Asotin County Memorial hospital. Death was attributed to the infirmities of age.

Mrs. Poler was born Nov. 8, 1868, at Harmony, Minn. Her husband, George Poler, died in 1937. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Mrs. Poler is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Claibel McMahan, Asotin, and Mrs. Mae Simon, Pullman; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 this afternoon at the Brower-Wann funeral home, Lewiston, by the Rev. Orrin Consear. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery.
