Mrs. Nancy E. Platt Dead

Melrose Pioneer Passes Away After Paralytic Stroke

Mrs. Nancy E. Platt, 79, pioneer of Melrose, died at White's hospital at 3:30 a.m. yesterday of paralysis. She was brought to Lewiston last Wednesday in a critical condition.

She leaves three sons, George L. R. Richardson, Melrose; Ernest Richardson and Claude Richardson, living in the central states, and a brother, John Cooper, living at Hermiston, Oregon.

The body is resting at the Brower-Wann parlors. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
