Lewiston, Idaho, October 31, 1895
August Pierstorf died Saturday afternoon at his residence east of Lewiston. He had been a sufferer with heart disease for many years and for some time past had been gradually growing worse. He was buried Sunday, under the auspices of the local lodge I. O. O. F. and his remains was followed to the grave by the members of the G. A. R. post and a large number of citizens. He leaves a wife and seven children who have the fullest sympathy of the community. Mr. Pierstorf was a man of high moral character and liberal heart, and many friends regret his death.
