Olive E. Parker, 43, Orchards, Succumbs
Olive E. Parker, 43, Lewiston Orchards, was taken by death at 8:10 last night at St. Joseph's hospital, which she entered yesterday morning. Death was due to cancer. Mrs. Parker had been seriously ill for the last two weeks.
Mrs. Parker was born March 4, 1906, at Pomeroy and married Floyd Parker at Lewiston in 1926.
After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Parker lived at Culdesac for 13 years and at Peck for two years. They came to Lewiston Orchards in 1940.
Mrs. Parker was a cummunicant of the Christian church.
Besides her husband she is survived by six children, Mrs. Joyce Jaymes, Lewiston, and Evangeline, Elizabeth, Gilbert, Charles and Lester, all at home; one grandchild, Arlene Jaymes, Lewiston; two brothers, Carl Tucker, Lewiston and Tom Tucker, John Day, Ore.; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace McKenzie, Bend, Ore., and Mrs. Bessie Messinger, Pomeroy.
The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home, with arrangements pending.
