Benjamin F. Olney, 63, a resident of Nez Perce county 57 years, the last 15 years being spent in Lewiston, died yesterday morning at 4:30 at his home, 126 Twenty-fourth street. He suffered a stroke about one week ago. He was born at Brownsville, Ore. He came to Idaho with his parents in 1882 and located on Fix ridge, later moving to the Gifford area where he engaged in farming until moving to Lewiston.

Survivors include his two sons, Fred Olney and Edward Olney, both of Lewiston; his brother and two sisters, Joseph Olney, Lewiston, and Mrs. Gertrude Sprague and Mrs. Hattie Sills, both of Spokane; three half-brothers and his half-sister, John C. Olney, Culdesac; Louis Clark, Clarkston, Walter Clark, Juliaetta, and Mrs. Rosetta Stevens, Kelso, Wash.; also two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 from the Brower-Wann chapel, the Rev. J. M. Chasteen, Clarkston, officiating. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery.
