Spokane Daily Chronicle Tuesday, July 2, 1957 Russ Merriman Lewiston, Idaho, July 2 - An early-day Lewiston business man died Sunday at St. Joseph's hospital following a two-week illness. Russ Merriman, 88, was born March 2, 1869, at Plainfield, Wis. The Merriman family first moved to Gallatin, Mont., in 1870, then to Missoula, Spokane and in 1899, to Lewiston. Mr. Merriman is survived by a son, Russell. Funeral services will be held at Brower-Wann chapel, with the Rev. Merritt Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Normal Hill cemetery. |
