Mrs. Annie McDonald Succumbs At Salem

Mrs. Annie Ferrier McDonald, 83, former Lewiston Orchards resident, died Saturday at Salem, Ore., according to word received here yesterday. She had been in ill health for three years.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 at Normal Hill cemetery, with the Rev. Douglas S. Vance, pastor of the Federated church, officiating.

Mrs. McDonald was born at Bervie, Scotland, Sept. 30, 1867. She came to Lewiston Orchards in 1905 with her husband, the late Dan R. McDonald. He died in 1937.

She lived at Salem from 1937 to 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Eastman, Big Fork, Mont., and Mrs. John Hail, Grants Pass, Ore., and four grandchildren.
