Lena Mary Maris Funeral of Miss Maris.

Remains Brought Here from Cottonwood for Interment.

The funeral of Miss Lena Maris was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Vassar Undertaking Parlors. Miss Maris died at Cottonwood a few days ago after a long illness from tuberculosis and the remains were brought to the city yesterday for burial beside her mother, who died in Lewiston some years ago. Her father, Mr. A. W. Maris, now a prominent business man of Cottonwood, was a resident of this place about seven years ago, at which time the family was well known here. Miss Maris leaves two sisters and one brother, Bert, who was a graduate of the Lewiston high school. All of the members of the family were present at the funeral and many friends, who were acquainted with the deceased, were present to pay their last respects to the departed. She was 22 years of age and the youngest member of the family. The pall-bearers were the Misses Myra Warner, Vera Isle, Olive Vince, Naomi Conklin, Bettie Hammock and Edith Wilson.
