Death Takes Pioneer Woman

Mrs. Susan Manning, Age 86, Succumbs at Lewiston.

Lewiston, Idaho, July 28. - Mrs. Susan Manning, age 86, died late today. She was the widow of Major G. A. Manning, Civil war veteran, and prominent for years in Idaho G. A. R. circles.

Mrs. Manning was born in Maine, came to Lewiston in 1878 and had resided here since, except for a brief period at Postfalls. She is survived by two sons, Frederick Manning and Charles Manning, Lewiston.

Mrs. Manning's Funeral - Funeral services for the late Mrs. Susan E. Manning, Lewiston pioneer, whose death occurred Saturday afternoon, will take place from the Vassar undertaking parlors, 124 Ninth street, at 10 o'clock Tuesday A granddaughter residing at Seattle is expected today.
