Jessie H. MacKenzie Passes At Rest Home

Jessie H. MacKenzie, 78, a native of England, was taken by death at 1:10 yesterday afternoon at the Riverview rest home, Clarkston, where she was a patient. Mrs. Mackenzie suffered a stroke eight months ago. She was a former Culdesac resident.

Miss MacKenzie was born July 22, 1869 at London, and came to America with her parents as a small child. She first lived at Kansas City, Mo. And later at Spokane. Miss MacKenzie moved to Culdesac 25 years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bozarth, Lewiston; one brother, Fraser MacKenzie, Slickpoo; eight nieces, Mrs. Oscar Elsensohn, Mrs. Wilda Peer, Mrs. Jessie Carlson and Mrs. Melvin White, all of Lewiston; Mrs. Keith McDaniels, New Mexico; Mrs. Barney Ralley [or Railey], California, Mrs. Gordon Lane, Oregon, and Mrs. Ross Benson, California; and five nephews, Gordon and Edward Bozarth, Culdesac, Danny MacKenzie, Myrtle, Fraser MacKenzie, Jackspur, and E. A. White, Jr., Jackspur.

The body is at Brower-Wann funeral home with arrangements pending.
