Three Indian scholars came up from Salem on Sunday, James Maxwell, Jennette Stevens and Chas. Lindsay. They have been attending the Indian training school at that place for several years. The same steamer brought the remains of Amelia Lindsay, a young Indian girl who died at the school of consumption. These that returned also are in poor health, so apparently the Oregon climate does not agree with the Nez Perces as well as that of Idaho.
