Spokane Daily Chronicle Saturday, Aug. 20, 1955 Cora E. Holsclaw Lewiston, Idaho, Aug. 20 - Mrs. Cora W. Holsclaw, 87, died yesterday morning at her Clarkston home. Death was attributed to the infirmities of age. Born at Allerton, Iowa, April 20, 1868, she had lived at Lewiston for the last seven years. She had for the last several years as a hobby compiled and edited booklets of prayers and scriptural quotations. Mrs. Holsclaw is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vernon D. Speer, Lewiston, with whom she had made her home, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 at Vassar-Rawls funeral home, the Rev. Merritt Faulkner officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
