F. J. Hengy Dies Early Today of Sudden Stroke

F. J. Hengy, who celebrated his eightieth birthday Saturday, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 12:15 o'clock this morning from effects of a paralytic stroke suffered at his home, 1702 Main street, Sunday afternoon. Mr. Hengy had been a resident of Lewiston for the last 30 years.

For a number of years he operated a feed house here and later was engaged in conducting a wholesale business in hides and metals. He was a native of Alsace-Lorraine.

He leaves three sons and four daughters, all except one, Xavier Hengy, who lives at San Diego, Calif., residing at Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Aloise Walter and Chief of Police Eugene Gasser are step-children of Mr. Hengy and Mrs. John Zinn is a step-niece.

The body is resting at the Vassar mortuary. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Funeral Date Not Set - Awaiting arrival of sons and daughters living at Dallas, Texas, and San Diego, Calif., the dage of funeral services for F. J. Hengy, whose death occurred yesterday, are being held in abeyance.
