Mrs. M. L. Goldsmith Dead

Mrs. Goldsmith, wife of M. L. Goldsmith, died yesterday at the family home in Spalding, the result of a violent attack of dysentery with which she had been afflicted for eight days. The remains were brought to Lewiston last night and the funeral will be held at four o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star.

The deceased was born in Sunderland, England, as was 52 years of age. She was united in marriage in Chicago to Mr. Goldsmith in 1873 and they moved west in 1875. In 1877 Mr. Goldsmith located on a ranch seven miles north of Lewiston. Since that time Lewiston and Spalding have been their home. Aside from her husband, Mrs. Goldsmith is survived by three children, Mrs. Alice Blakeman, of Morrow, and Mrs. Jane Andrews and John Goldsmith of Spalding.
