Mrs. Chas. H. Edwards Dead
Former Lewiston Lady Taken by Tuberculosis at Merced.
Chas. E. Monteith received a message yesterday announcing the death the day before, of Mrs. Chas. H. Edwards at Merced, Cal., of tuberculosis. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were well known in this city and at Missoula, where Mr. Edwards was interested in the Missoulan and in the state horticultural journal.
Mrs. Edwards was formerly Alice M. Morrison and has a brother [John L. Morrison] who was killed near Stites some years ago, buried here. The remains of Mrs. Edwards will be brought to Lewiston for interment, but nothing else is yet known of the arrangements.
