Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, Aug. 8, 1946 Lingering Illness Fatal To George W. Earl, 73 Orofino Aug. 7 - George W. Earl, 73, died this morning at 6:30 at an Orofino hospital after an illness of several months. He was born in Dayton, Wash., on Feb. 26, 1873, and had been a resident of the Orofino area for 10 years. He is survived by his widow, Jessie, in Woodward, Ore., three daughters, Mrs. Lafe Bachus, Orofino; Mrs. Virgil Daggert, Juliaetta; and Mrs. June Hopfinger, Camby, Ore.; two sons, Leonard, Medford, and A. T., of Albany, Ore. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 from the Blake chapel with Maj. W. H. Osborn, Salvation army, of Lewiston, officiating. Burial will be in Normal Hill cemetery in Lewiston. |
