William B. Dorsett

Lewiston, Idaho - William B. Dorsett, 85, a retired carpenter and a former resident of the Lewiston Clarkston area, died Sunday of infirmities of age at his home at Chelan, Wash., where he moved from Clarkston about a year ago.

He was born Sept. 9, 1880, in Putnam County near Unionville, Mo., and was married there April 15, 1901 to Frances Manor, who died in 1960.

Survivors include four sons, Elmer, Cincinnati; Charles, Spokane; Walter, Chelan, Wash., and Alvin, Columbia, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Edith LaPlante, and Mrs. Garnita Gibbs, both Lewiston and Mrs. Ruth Burgan, Norfolk, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Allie Coddington, Clarkeston, Mrs. Ellen Keller, Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Della Alexander, Spearfish, S.D., two brothers, Otto Dorsett, Deadwood, S.D., and Jerry Dorsett, Bremerton, Wash., 30 grandchildren, 62 great- grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at Brower-Wann Funeral Home.
