Obituary

Lewiston Teller
Lewiston, Idaho, May 28, 1891

Died - At his home in this city, Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 1891, J. Clindining, a well known and respected citizen of Lewiston. Though not surprised many of our citizens will be pained to read this announcement of Mr. Clindining's death. He has been seriously ill for some months and very low for weeks past. A heavy cold developed into a severe attack of la grippe, which in turn took on a form of pneumonia. This complication of diseased gradually used up the vital energies and caused death. Mr. Clindining was one of the oldest citizens of Lewiston. He was honored, trusted and respected by all. In his death the whole community suffers the loss of an enterprising and valued citizen.
