Ed Byrne, a young man residing near Kendrick, died Tuesday from the effect of being accidently shot Sunday. Byrne was out hunting squirrels and on the road home while driving a calf out of the field struck the animal with the gun which discharged and the load of fine shot entered his side near the hip. It was thought at first the wound would not prove serious but congestion of the bowels set in and caused his death.
