John Bulen, Retired Printer, Dies Suddenly

Lewiston, Idaho, April 10 - A sudden heart attack claimed the life of John Columbus Bulen, 72, yesterday at his home in Culdesac. Born in Missouri, he came to the Pomeroy (Wash.) vicinity and lived there until 1900. For the next seven years, he was employed as a printer at the Lewiston Tribune, and moved from Lewiston to Culdesac in 1907, where he made his home until his death.

Besides his widow, Amelia, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Millard, Kendrick, and Mrs. Clarence Osburn, Craigmont; two sons, Eugene and Robert, both of Culdesac, and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Brower-Wann chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. William Kole officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery.
