Lewiston, Idaho, October 1, 1880

Died.

In this city, 28th inst., of consumption, George H. Anderson, aged 43 years.

Funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday 29th from his late residence.

Mr. Anderson was a native of Albany, N.Y., from which place he came to this coast in 1865 with his family. After spending three years in Portland, Orn., he went to Warrens mining camp where he remained 2 years, he then came to Lewiston where he has lived for the past 10 years. Mr. Anderson was a very active, industrious man of a genial, social disposition, having few enemies and a large circle of warm hearted friends. He has a mother and dix sisters living at Albany, New York, he leaved a wife and two sons in this city. On the day of his death a letter came from his mother entreating him to return to his native home. He was the only son.


Card Of Thanks - I wish to tender many thanks to the ladies and gentlemen of Lewiston for their kind attention to my family during my husbands sickness and burial. The handsome wreathes and flower letters made by Mrs. Vining and Mrs. Leland, we shall treasure as rare mementoes.
